This 17th-century former coaching inn offers free private parking just 15 minutes' drive from Crewe's town center. A seasonal menu and breakfast is available in the Bear's Head a wooden-beamed restaurant joined onto the pub. Each bright and traditionally decorated room has a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. A hairdryer and free toiletries are included in the private bathroom. Just 5 minutes' drive from the M6 motorway Innkeeper's Lodge Sandbach is a 10-minute car journey from Wheelock Hall Farm. The Jodrell Bank Discovery Center with its giant telescope is 15 minutes' drive away and the Peak District National Park is a 25-minute drive away.

Liked: Loved to quirky place and the rooms we stayed in across the court yard. Lovely accommodation.

Very good

Liked: Great location and everything was well considered with a lovely shower. The pub/restaurant attached was very popular locally and was an enjoyable evening
Disliked: The heating didn’t work for us - the heated towel rail specifically Breakfast was a little disappointing Not their fault but other guests came in late and woke us up

Excellent stay, great value

Liked: Lovely overnight stay with great staff. It was very clean and I loved the bathroom. Excellent value.
Disliked: Nothing in particular, it was a short stay and served our purposes very well.
