We noticed a marked decline...

Liked: We have stayed a few times before and we liked it, thus our return. The location for us, and the proximity to Sandy Park, is ideal.

Food experience great; bedroom ok;...

Liked: Extremely friendly staff, particularly in restaurant, and very clean facilities, fairly quiet room.
Disliked: Heating in bedroom would not turn on; bed far too hard and hollow fibre pillows excruciatingly uncomfortable.

Pleasant - 3.0 out of 5

Very disappointed. It used to...

Liked: Breakfast was good. Reasonable selection but nothing 'different'. It was well cooked and brought straight from the kitchen.
Disliked: The beds were very firm and gave me a disturbed night's sleep and quite high, making them difficult for my wife to get into. Dinner was slow. It took a long time for the order to be taken and then the meal itself was not brilliant. Selection was similar to many other hotels/guest houses. Would like to have seen something 'different'. It was clear that the food was being rushed and the staff were struggling to keep up with the number of customers.

Great nights stay to get...

Liked: It was a lovely village pub to stay in. We stayed for one night as it was near to Exeter Airport. We had a lovely meal and drink in the bar area. Staff were lovely, locals friendly and the room was really nice, spacious and clean. Great stop off.
Disliked: Nothing
