Liked: Great location. Clean and comfortable
Disliked: Was a bit concerned by the fixed windows which meant had there been a fire and we couldn’t evacuate through the room door then we would be trapped.

Disliked: Need better lightning above mirror in bathroom and more comfortable bed pillows. Would have liked to open a window in room.

Liked: We were visiting family in Eskbank, soLocation was perfect for us. Also being next door to Dobbies Garden centre was fabulous. Breakfast was amazing and the service excellent.
Disliked: In the rain, it is not perfect to go outside between hotel accommodation and the restaurant.

Exceptional

Liked: On arrival ample parking and reception area easily found. Friendly receptionist checked us in and we found elevator easily. Bright, spacious and our rooms (1 Family Room + 1 Double Room) were next door to each other. Room very comfortable and well appointed for tea/coffee making. Our air-con out of order but an oil-filled heated in situ but we didn't need it. No outside noise; Had pre-booked our evening meal at Melville Inn Restaurant located closeby. Good menu choices and drinks selection. Attentive servers on hand. A great overnight trip for our family.
