Over fussy booking team
Liked: At the last minute Ilford Hotel changed our reservation to an apartment nearby. This was very nice, although for obvious reasons no tea or coffee, so we had to buy breakfast the next morning.
Disliked: The hotel asked us to provide photo id and threatened a £300 deposit. This is daft and pointless and made me feel untrusted. We were visiting a relative who is unwell and the last thing we needed was to be pestered by the hotel in this heavy handed way. We haven’t needed to provide photo id at other places, it’s unwelcoming and unnecessary and added to the anxiety I was feeling about my visit. The apartment was lovely, I obviously don’t know what the hotel is like but the proprietors don’t help themselves with this kind of behaviour.

Classy, Clean and Contemporary Hotel!...
Liked: Was very impressed with the standard of this hotel. Everything was so clean and elegant. The hotel has a contemporary feeling and the staff were friendly. The complimentary breakfast was a bonus too. Also it was a 3 minute walk to the new Elizabeth line at Ilford station made it easy to get into London in 20 minutes. I will definitely choose to stay here again!!
Disliked: nothing if I’m honest! it was a perfect stay!
