Liked: After a long discussion whilst checking in the reception staff finally asked us to accompany security and go round to best western to check in as he kept telling us no booking for us despite showing confirmation. I did tell them will be checking in between 11 and 12 at midnight to sleepover.After a long day and drive from midlands , following the wedding reception the last thing we wanted to hear that there is no accommodation only than to transfer us to Best Western.
Disliked: Arguing telling no accommodation exist even after showing email confirmation and booking . Com reference number. On top of that I was even told to pay £14 to cover parking for 2 cars otherwise you will receive PCN.On 30 th July at 1358hrs Icalled Ibis reception to tell them We will be checking in close to midnight and made sure that was ok as we did not want any hassle. I was told no problem your booking is confirmed what the hell between those times you need to investigate please.

Busy and noisy

Liked: The staff we’re friendly enough and the room was satisfactory
Disliked: Hall way carpets are really dirty, room party went on all night one night and there must have been workmen staying who left at 6am and left their door open so the alarm sounded. Not once but half a dozen times for 3 days.

Very convenient for Terminal 5...

Liked: It was close to Terminal 5 and the airport shuttle service was good.
Disliked: The habit of putting people on top of each other in a half empty hotel is more than annoying. I was woken up repeatedly by the couple in the room next to mine.

Liked: Nothing but the location as it was a few minute walk from family.
Disliked: In our first room was myself my partner and my children aged 2 and 5 months old had to request a room changed due to the smell of damp which was because of a leak in the property which left the floor lino soaking wet. The sencond rolm was jot much better there was a constant smell of damp which on occasion left this smell clothes. Also requested a travel cot for my 5 month old which they could not provide. My child had to sleep in her pram. Also the main problem was that we were not even in the ibis styles hotel that we had booked we were transferred to the WB WESTERN, and the staff at check-in were reluctant to help.
