Disliked: I have stayed in this Ibis before and thought it was ok for the price for an overnight stay while travelling but this visit was truly an eye opener I will never stay here again and suggest others booking through booking.com give it a miss as wellI am aware places booked through third party’s don’t give out the best rooms and generally I’m ok with this but seriously, this particular room was, in my opinion, the worst room they had, I can’t believe they could have anything worse than this. For some reason I was put in a disabled room, which meant I sat on the bed or on a hard back chair.The room was small and unpleasant, there was, however, lots of room behind the head of the bed for, I assume, a wheelchair which I didn’t have so wasted space just made the room smaller.There was no bedside table and no power near the bed so I had to bring the hard back chair to put my phone and water on during the night.The noise was ridiculous, apart from the usual hotel noise, on the other side of the paper thin wall was a laundry, staff fridge and a microwave which, honestly, I could hear ding when it was used. The vent in the bathroom turned on every time I turned on the light which is in my experience is usual practice but the noise the vent made was extreme and I would have preferred not to turn the light on but the bathroom was very dark even during daylight hours. The room was just around the corner from reception so add front door banging into the mix.I ended up leaving the widow open so the traffic noise would drown out all the internal noise.I should have just turned around and walked out, wore the loss of the money I paid and found another place to stay.

Terrible!

Disliked: My daughter has an infection on her skin on her back caused by bed bugs. Rooms were so unclean, mould in the shower. Absolutely disgusting.
