Did not meet expectations

Liked: The bridal suite was pleasant but felt cold and unloved. It was a comfortable sleep.
Disliked: The entrance to the hotel seemed abandoned, and you had to ring a bell down at the lesuire centre for checking in. I was put in a room type that I was not expecting or booked. It was not a suite, which is what I booked ( bedroom and separate lounge). I had to ask for it to be changed as I was unhappy. We were moved to the bridal suite, and although recently renovated (I was told), it had a loose bath. It looked nice on the surface, but when you looked closer, you saw mismatch furniture, poor paint finish, and worn towels. Need I go on...There was no restaurant, as it was being renovated, and the breakfast food offered in a go bag was very limited. The coffee from the machine was unpleasant. The place felt unloved. Having stayed at Hustyns some years back, my expectations were high, but to be honest, I couldn't wait to leave, I am sad to say.
