This hotel is awesome. I've actually stayed here before but didn't realize how close it was to my venue. I love how the ConcertHotels website tells you how far everything is and walking times - not just miles like the others do. The Hudson hotel is a boutique style hotel that has different unique bars and a beautiful roof top garden and tequila bar. It is clean and convenient and fairly priced for the city! Contrary to some of the other reviews I love the entrance with its yellow glowing escalators as the only light to the lobby - to me that is inviting, and the dark wood throughout isn't dark and gloomy - it's beautiful! If you want blinding lights and glass try Times Square. This hotel is everything it says it is and that's refreshing for a change!

Liked: Easy check in and out with plenty of staff so barely a wait compared to what you can experience in the city.
Disliked: OK as everyone said, yes the rooms are small but you can upgrade to a larger one and the square feet is given next to the room types so they are not hiding anything.

The entrance to the hotel is not inviting - dark and gloomy. There is no uniform dress so it's difficult to determine bell captains from pedestrians. Rooms are much too small, especially considering the price - no amenities - no room service, no restaurant, not even coffee setup for room. The only restaurant available only served breakfast and limited to a Continental breakfast. The hallways are dark and ugly - the rooms are clean and simply but effectively decorated. The outlet in the bathroom, instead of being located by the sink/mirror area, was located on a back wall.

Liked: Rooms are clean; valet parking; conveniently located.
Disliked: Depressingly dark lobby; small rooms; no room service; no hotel restaurant.

Liked: Cuz I went there winter time, the great things are the location and lobby looks awesome.
Disliked: The room is super tiny!! There is not enough space to walk after we placed our three suitcase which was unfortunately. The bathroom has a whole glass wall which means you can see both side from bathroom to your bed.It was awkward to us.

Brad Fri, 20 October 2017

Liked: The entertrance into the lobby is beautiful. The smell is very pleasant without being overpowering. The lobby is brick and wood with minor surprising details here and there.
Disliked: The room was exactly as pictured, but a bit smaller than I was expecting. I was still comfortable and I should have factored in the location beforehand, but I think it is worth mentioning that the room is going to be smaller than most people expect.

Sandra Fri, 20 October 2017

Liked: The lobby was very warm and welcoming.
Disliked: A standard room at this hotel is the size of my closet (not exaggerating). Requested upgrade and was charged $80 more per night. Hotel website showed difference in price between standard and deluxe room was $35. Bar music very loud and could not sleep.

Liked: I have been in America for 9 years andthe front desk is the most polite, friendly and helpful customer service professional I have ever come across. I would stay here again just for him and the other lovely staff. Thanks for a great stay.
Disliked: Troubles with cable reception on TV. Not a major issue.

Liked: Plenty of elevators; ability to check in a little early; ability to keep our luggage stored there for a few hours, even after we checked out.
Disliked: Very small room, parking was expensive.

Poor - 1.5 out of 5

Ricardo Fri, 20 October 2017

Liked: Nice lobby, bar and other common areas.
Disliked: Incredibly small rooms! This hotel may technically provide all the required amenities to qualify as a 4-star hotel, but I don't think a 140 square foot room should ever be considered 4-star. The bed was also made noise with and the mattress felt worn.

Liked: Great location. Easy public transportation options, very walkable area. Lots of eateries, shopping, etc
Disliked: As others have mentioned, the room was extremely small. The smallest I have ever been in. For the price we paid I can't complain. We didn't spend much time in the room, but the bathroom was especially tight.

Disliked: Too noisy at night, looks like the pipelines wasn't working properly and the noise didn't allow you too sleep.

Verified Hotel Guest Fri, 20 October 2017

Liked: Amazing location! Decent size fridge in the room & a comfy bed. The staff were very friendly, though concierge wasn't very helpful when we asked for a moderately priced brunch location. They hold your luggage when you check in and out! Very nice
Disliked: Combination of florescent lime paint job in hallway & dim lighting creates a creepy atmosphere in hallways. Not a place for the kids. The rooms are VERY SMALL. Our standard size room was about 8ft wide and 15ft long. Leaky bathroom sink & loud AC.
