Liked: The Howard Johnson By Wyndham at Lake George has an impeccable location; simply step out of your room, get to the street, walk 50 or so feet, and you're in the center of Lake George! The room was clean and well placed, and overall quiet. In the morning, the hotel lobby served granola bars with juices and coffee, which I took part of before heading to one of the few excellent breakfast restaurants literally in walking-distance of this hotel. All this for the low price was more than I could've asked for.
Disliked: I think The only things I disliked was the state of the main lobby, and the size of the rooms. They are a bit smaller than a regular full-sized hotel chain. That and checking in, the main lobby was dark and in a bit of disarray. All of this was easily ignored with the great price and location.
