Room was small but did have large walk-in closet. It appeared to be clean and the beds were comfortable. Extremely close to Bill Graham venue. Very annoyed at the long waits for the 2 of 4 small elevators that were in working order. Worst hotel shower ever - long wait for warm water and miniscule water pressure. No in-room coffee so had to trek downstairs to the crowded Starbucks every a.m. Ice machine had ice about 1/2 the time. No room service available at all. Electrical outlet needs replaced. Might have been better satisfied at half the price I paid which was around $750 for 3 nights + $45/night for parking. I'd probably opt for the Best Western next time there's a concert at that venue.

Liked: Room was clean; very close to Bill Graham venue. Friendly, cheerful maid service very helpful.
Disliked: 2 out of 4 small elevators operable; very little shower water pressure; no in-room coffee & no room service available; had to set a bag in front of electrical outlet to keep plug from falling out.

Liked: Close to great restaurants and venue for our event (SHN Orpheum Theatre), very walkable to lots of venues & landmarks
Disliked: No coffee in room, lighting very dim in room, interesting homeless population around hotel at night

Liked: I liked that I was in walking distance of the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. There where lots of restaurant and shops with in walking distance.I like that they park your car.
Disliked: The price was high and wish parking was included in the price of the hotel. I paid it anyways because it was in walking distance of my destination.

Liked: Varun was an amazing host. Location was good. However, about an hour ago Super bummed with our stay EXCEPT for our first night there! also happened two nights ago with David at the bar. He is rude and insensitive. I was told by hostess they just hired him back and have had numerous complaints again....two bad experiences with David :( On a good note, chef art is amazing, Christy is amazing and Varun does his best to insure the satisfaction of their guests. As a bartender with 16 years experience, I am always served with the best attitude and all around enhanced experience but unfortunately I am taking more time out of my vacation to write this post. Your full vacation experience is cased by your rooming and board and all a perfect vacation until the pre and post tourist events. The lack of consistency in service and food quality really sets this location up for failure. Upon arrival it was a class act experience on Wednesday to be completely crushed by the thurs-sat service. It leaves much to be desired I must say.:::
Disliked: The service in bar left a lot to be desired. Two of the three nights we dined and drink the service was really bad. David in the bar was rude and insensitive every time we HAD to engage with him.

Liked: The bed was uneven, but comfortable; the room was certainly acceptable enough for business travel. The staff was courteous and responsive; the amenities were more than acceptable. Everything that I needed in the room was readily available.
Disliked: The bed could have been more comfortable; I would have liked for the blankets to have been a touch warmer, and the AC, being a typical wall unit, took a while to cool down or warm up the room. But it was a good room, certainly good enough to stay there again should the need or opportunity arise.
