4 star hotel trying to...

Liked: The only thing positive of this hotel was the location.
Disliked: Sound proofing was next to none. There was a university prom and they were extremely loud all night!I complained earlier in the day of their nosiness and I was basically ignored and was told that the manager would take care of it. Nothing was done to ensure that we had a quiet relaxing stay!There was no manager available that night to deal with the discontent patrons of the hotel that were not part of the prom party! A few of us were woken up in the middle of the night and could not find anyone to help us out. We were close to calling the police to calm the party goers! The hotel should advice patrons of parties and changes to the dining schedule.Continental breakfast was a disappointment for a 4 star hotel. I have had better at a 2 star.The rooms were cold, including the hallways. I expected a cozy warm room but was greeted with a room that was 18 degrees when we walked in. So much was lacking in the room. No radio, no pamphlets, or information on the hotel. There is no need for two showers and two toilets. Money would have been better spend on soundproofing and heated floors that were very cold even after we turned up the heat.I would never stay there again, unfortunately. We have stayed in the past but this has soured my desire to go back.
