It’s located in a nice...
Liked: I liked that the property was by a lot of restaurants and also by the beach.
Disliked: I didn’t like that the hot water was not hot but one time at night when we took our showers. I also didn’t like the fact that our toilet had stopped up 3 times during our stay. Lastly the halls smelled like mildew.

Liked: Nothing(Terrible stay)
Disliked: We had no hot water for 3 of the 4 days there. No one picked up at the front desk at all when called. Had to go across the street to speak with someone about the water being cold not Luke warm but cold! I requested the manager to call me,left my personal number and no response. Unsecured astablisment which is a hazard to anyone who stays there. Terrible place and I'd never refer anyone.

Liked: It was horrible. I would like to have a refund. They did not clean my room for three days plus, it was bugs in the shower as well in the bed. Also no hot water to take a shower. It was the worst experience ever.

Worst stay ever
Liked: 1)The bed was comfortable. The decor in the room itself was good/descent 2)The location is perfect. 3)Good air conditioning. The room is reasonably cool even without air conditioning
Disliked: Where do I begin?1)There was no hot water to wash with. I told the receptionist and they said because it is old i needed to leave it on for 5 mins. It worked twice and for the other 4 days of my stay no hot water no matter how much i tried. 2)No reception, it is across the road in another hotel. When you call the operator on the phone in the room it takes you no where.3)There was an odd and off putting odour as soon as you enter. The stairs up to the third floor(no escalator) where dirty and with stains. Not even vacummed! An easy problem to solve but clearly they are having financial difficulties.4)There was an inch gap underneath the bedroom door and so mice could easily enter the room, especially the main hotel entrance was often open5)You can hear literally everything outside as the windows are so thin and it is a busy road. Luckily I had my ear plugs for the flight, otherwise it would have been completely impossible to sleep6)The tv does not work properly. 33 channels but onlu 2 workI genuinely feel so bad writing such a bad review as they are clearly struggling which is why they cannot seem to be able to afford to fix these problems. But people need to know what they are parting their money with and i would not want anyone to have their holiday ruined. The photos on here are deceptive. The building is extremely old and needs major works. Furthermore, the receptionist in the other hotel was by himself and seemed distracted by different people’s requests and was just unable to provide a good level of service. A really hope they get their act together. I would never recommend this to anyone and my purchase was non refundable so I had no choice but to stay there.

Disliked: I experienced numerous issues at the Shelley Hotel in Miami, booked through Booking.com. Upon arrival, there was no dedicated check-in desk; check-in was managed at a sister hotel across the street, which I was not informed about in advance. The hotel entrance was locked, adding to the initial confusion. I arrived at noon but was unable to check in until 4 PM, and found that neither hotel offered luggage storage, leading to extra costs. I was informed of two available rooms—one on the third floor and one on the first. Despite choosing a third-floor room, I was assigned to Room N 104 on the first floor next to a bar. Loud music played at the bar from 4 PM to 4 AM, making it impossible to rest. At the time, I was feeling unwell, which exacerbated my discomfort, yet my requests for another room were denied. Service continued to disappoint. The cleaning staff failed to clean my room when requested, and necessities like a kettle and basic toiletries were not provided. My requests for clean towels and toiletries were ignored by a receptionist who was dismissive, accused me of being rude, and even threatened to call the police on me. I contacted Booking.com seeking help. They acknowledged my issues but were unable to relocate me. Attempts to secure a quieter room were fruitless, leaving me to endure another night in the noisy, unclean room while sick. On my departure day, I was abruptly told to check out at 11 AM. My stay was severely affected by poor management, inadequate service, and a lack of basic hospitality, especially critical given my health condition (for which I have a doctor's report). I would strongly suggest against staying at this hotel to avoid a similar experience.
