First rate Hotel lovely staff.

Liked: Lovely staff and excellent food.

Superb

Liked: Excellent room, bed and shower. Secure bike storage. Wonderful breakfast spread.
Disliked: Schoonhoven is off the mass tourism trail, but it is a lovely small town with great historical interest.

Would stay again

Liked: Good location overlooking the river & easy walk into the old town. Well appointed hotel withLovely helpful staff. There was excellent storage for our bikes.In particular the food was absolutely fabulous. Worth going just for the food!!

Nice.

Liked: Stayed here a few times over the years. It’s gradually been improved and renovated. Riverside with a lift to all floors. Bike storage with electric points. Nice sized restaurant, expensive but good food. Usual breakfast. Excellent service from the staff. The town is worth a wander.
Disliked: It’s a shame the far bank has evolved into a large cement works… not the greatest of views from the restaurant.

Beautiful hotel & location, great...

Liked: Excellent location and great rooms overlooking the river & trees. Very quiet and lots of free parking, no issue. Good breakfast and dinner, very relaxed and friendly.
Disliked: Slightly better ventilation in rooms would be appreciated, as often felt stuffy when we returned from being out.
