Good location and comfy room

Liked: Room was quiet and small, but nicely updated bathroom with great shower. Enjoyed the old vibe of the restored 1909 property. Breakfast was ample but eggs totally tasteless. Good biscuits. Right next to Alamo! There is no real lobby space and that’s nice to have in a downtown hotel. Breakfast room is also a taproom but it’s pretty sterile. FYI there is a lot of downtown construction going on for next two years snd Gibbs wasn’t affected sound wise by it. That was nice!
Disliked: Would like tastier eggs! And cheaper parking but that’s a factor at any property downtown.

Liked: Hotel Gibbs is a very good location. Our room was spacious and comfortable.We used the Valet parking. Staff was friendly and welcoming.
Disliked: The breakfast quality was dismal and not enough seating.
