Hotel Brenton is a charming historic hotel. My room was lovely, not big but absolutely darling. The hotel is very convenient walking distance to the Lyric music venue.

Liked: Lovely room!

Liked: the room was really large and the bed super comfortable. The location is really great in a very interesting neighborhood with a lot of places to see and places to eat within easy walking distance.
Disliked: two drawbacks, the parking can be pretty difficult. the hotel has some reserved parking but not nearly all that they need. I would not really count on much of a "free breakfast" , just skip it and go to one of the nice cafe or coffee shops in the area

Liked: Unique feel to it, so much more enjoyable than your average chain, and in a great location in Baltimore. Mt. Vernon is an ideal area to stay, lots of neighborhood bars and easy access to downtown

Liked: Location- charm of historic property, but....
Disliked: Bathroom shower had dry wall peeling off. Charming wood floors but cleanliness was an issue. Room had one desk chair but no other place to sit other than the bed. The one ornamental yellow bed pillow was beat up and dirty. Hairs uncovered on sheets not belonging to us. No place to put luggage except on the floor or bed. Closet was tiny with only three hangers. In short, some charm to room but overall it is very ?tired? and needs a serious make over. Finally, on site staff was disengaged and it also took them 4 days to respond to a simple email question.

I really enjoyed my stay...

Liked: Great location in historic Mt. Vernon/Mt. Royal. I walked everywhere and it was perfect. I loved the character of the hotel and my room was the perfect size for a solo traveler?plenty of storage and closet space. Huge bathroom. Really helpful and nice front desk staff?responsive, friendly, good information and willing to help.
Disliked: The breakfast room isn't going to win any awards?it works but nothing fancy. I did have some facilities issues with the AC that they fixed right away. I also had an issue with the plumbing which they didn't.
