This is a beautiful hotel near the beach. I love it! The mini fridge and microwave were a plus. I loved everything about my stay, aside from the fact that I was charged twice for the room. Hoping that's just some sort of extra thing they do to hold the room, and that the charge will come off soon, but it's still a big inconvenience since it's a lot of money.

Disliked: I was charged twice for the room. I talked to the front desk and they say they only charged me once, so I don't know what happened. If the second charge doesn't get reimbursed back to me soon I'll need to dispute it with my bank.

This was a very nice hotel. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the bathroom was as well, with lots of towels. Our room window was facing the freeway which another reviewer said was loud - I did not hear a thing. We took a Lyft to a concert we were attending at Doheney Beach - the patio out front was super nice in waiting for that Lyft with nice comfortable patio furniture. We went to two local bars right around the corner within walking distance. One had a great live band , the other had an awsome patio with a huge firepit and great food. We walked down the street in the morning to Starbucks. Didn't get a chance to check out the pool or explore the town better but from what I did see I would highly reccommend. Price wasn't too bad either.

Disliked: Our room was about 20 feet from I-5. Request an ocean view room!Our toilet backed up (same thing happened last time we stayed there). Maintenance never came to fix it and we had to go get a plunger when we returned after dinner. Pretty disappointing, as we’ve stayed there several times in the past.

Liked: Perfect location to walk to Restuarants and shops. I recommend king suite on 3rd floor as VERY spacious and large balcony with ocean view. Staff is helpful and friendly.

Liked: The location is awesome. They kept the hotel clean.
Disliked: It was very noisy. Evening staff didn't seem like they appreciated their job. Morning guy was much nicer and helpful. TV was a pain to figure out. They had to turn the heat on spa in morning, Pool isn't heated.

Disliked: My husband and I usually take our dog on our trips. We have never had flea bites until we stayed at the Volare. In addition the furnace in the room was super noisy. I tried to call the front desk s few times but none one picked up. I don’t recommend this hotel at all.
