Disliked: Very difficult to locate. GPS took us and several other guests to a totally different area of town.

Liked: This is our second stay at this property. It is very clean and conveniently located.
Disliked: The two times we have stayed here we have been very impressed with the staff and the cleanliness of the property. The only exception this stay was the woman who checked us in (a little before 10 pm on Thursday 4/11). She acted as we were an inconvenience and a complete interruption to her evening. At one point I asked a question about a delay in the process. She answered curtly replied that she was waiting on an id and credit card. I asked if I was supposed to know that by osmosis! (I was weary from a long day of travel.) Other than her, all other staff were cheerful, helpful and friendly.We have noticed in the remodel of several select service brands, that the lighting in the rooms is awful, and the mirror (which used to be standard) above the desk has been replaced with an art piece. I would venture a guess that, like us, when more than one guest is in the room, it is common to sit at the desk to do hair and makeup. Without a mirror and proper lighting this becomes quite a task. Additionally, there were no plugs convenient to the desk (room 217) yet there was a FOUR plug outlet above the luggage rack!!! NOT HELPFUL if you need to plug in a computer or curling iron.

I was disappointed I couldn't...

Liked: The breakfast was exceptional. The room was spotless. The beds were fine.
Disliked: The traffic on the loop kept me awake till 2:30 am. It's the loud cars and trucks. The front desk says it's an ongoing problem. Maybe different window coverings would help?

Liked: Very comfortable bed, large room, great shower
Disliked: Wasn't told about the $50.51 security fee ahead of time. I had to call hotel regarding the extra charge in my bank account.

This hotel is a must...

Liked: Very clean hotel,nice location close to a lot of restaurants. Right down the street from the mall. Breakfast was fresh and hot every morning and did I mention delicious. Cheese and veggie omelets were my favorite. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Very quiet hotel if traveling on business.
Disliked: Nothing

Disappointing stay

Liked: The staff were generally welcoming and the facilities, for the most part, were up to the high standard we anticipated, specifically the cleanliness of our room and the quality of the breakfast.
Disliked: Unheated, unusable pool: The pool was not operational during our stay and though we were reassured that pool maintenance will fix it, this remained unchanged throughout our stay and no one was able to give an update.Promised Credit: Upon reporting the pool issue, we were promised a credit as a gesture of goodwill. I have since emailed the general manager of this hotel to inquire and we have yet to receive a response or credit.Safety Concern and Room Inspection Request: A particularly concerning incident occurred late at night when we received a call at 11:30 PM from the front desk. The staff member inquired about the possibility of us having additional guests in our room, based on an overheard conversation among teenagers in the hotel. What was more unsettling was the staff member's request to physically inspect our room, which we declined as we were preparing for bed. Not only were these allegations unfounded, it felt intrusive and the situation also caused us undue stress and concern for our safety and privacy. Again, no response received from the hotel since I've emailed them.
