Holiday Inn Express Columbus East-Reynoldsburg, Reynoldsburg

I would not recommend this hotel to any of my friends and family. I honestly wouldn't recommend this hotel to an enemy.

Liked: They had breakfast.
Disliked: The kids running above our room all hours of the night; the hotel is run down and needs to have a deep clean. There were police at one point searching the second floor and a weird little man running around with a towel and spray bottle talking about a stain on the floor. They only gave us two extra towels for a family of four. The pool had leaves in it and a weird mud on the floor of the pool room.

Liked: The room was nice and comfy
Disliked: I reserved my room with my cash app card. When arrived to facility, they didn't except cash app, PayPal, chime, venmo or cash. I feel like that should have been displayed on booking.com. It made check in a very inconvenience. The clerk at the desk was not welcoming.

Liked: The hotel was nicely kept and the room was clean and nicely decorated.
Disliked: The lighting in the bathroom was not good. It was along the bottom of the mirror instead of above. The night clerk at the front desk was very unfriendly and acted as if we were bothering him both at check in and when we had a problem with our key cards.

It was a place to sleep but we wont be returning again.

Liked: Kind helpful staff, quick check in
Disliked: -Vending machines were down-Had to swap rooms, the side door wasn't working for easy access with my dog, and there was a VERY heavy perfumery smell in first room. The 2nd was fine, and the issue was corrected, however, I arrived late in the evening, and just wanted to go to my room settle in and had to change rooms and leave to get food and drinks after. For the price, I would have chosen a different location that also would have better accommodated my very large dog. There's barely a patch of grass here and no dog waste receptacles on the premises
