Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites Lake Charles, Lake Charles

Disappointment for the most part.

Liked: Nice appearance as you start out but the room was a different story.
Disliked: The room was a disappointment. The shower curtain rod was barely hanging on, the light switch was messed up, there was a bulb missing out of one of the lamps. Getting the key to work in the door was a hassle. Had to lift up on the bathroom door to get it to close. I stumped my toe on the threshold coming out the bathroom. The ro never seemed to not cool off. I dont see us staying here again. It was mine and my fiancs 1 year anniversary. The only thing good was the breakfast I can say that.

Liked: a decent hotel at a good price
Disliked: The floor are horrible, you could hear every single foot steps out in the hall way and of course the room right above us, what made it worse was that most of the guest were basketball players that were taking part in a high school basketball playoffs

Unfortunately not a good experience

Liked: Liked that it was in close distance to where we needed to go
Disliked: Housekeeping were not friendly. They wouldn't give us towels when we asked over 3 times. When they finally came to bring them they never wanted to give the amount needed for the number of ppl that stayed in the room. We also had issues with roaches in our room. We killed 4. I have a toddler so I had to keep watch at all times that nothing would crawl on her so she wouldn't start screaming and crying. Breakfast wasn't good at all. We few of the guests complained about not being able to find the staff before alot of the food items where gone and nothing else in replaced. Beside of the location, it wasn't a good experience with them. I wish I can get a refund
