Disappointing stay

Liked: The property is nearby to my facility that we were visiting over Christmas. It could use a little updating outside but it was clean and comfortable. We have stayed here previously with a much better experience.
Disliked: The pet fee was not disclosed ahead of time. My quoted rate was $176 including taxes and fees, and I was charged $250 on my credit card. Almost $80 in pet fees for one night is unreasonable. Staff was disorganized, and they could not give us a room on the first floor, which is helpful when navigating a dog outside to relieve herself. They did not have the needed information from my reservation and said their confusion was just because it was a busy time of year. Overall, this was not a good experience.
