I'll never be back and...
Liked: 2 staff employees were very kind. They work the desk
Disliked: Manager was rude! I let her know that the pool was not written as "Closed for renovations" when I booked my room. She said "Well I know it's written because I made sure that all Wyndham hotels have it on the website". I told her that it is not stated as Closed and she got snotty with me. So I checked my booking and it was NOT written as the pool being closed! I went to your main website and it does say the pool is closed BUT, it is not written as Closed on Booking.com, Travelocity or VRBO sites. I made my booking through Booking.com. I was not the only client to complain about the pool not being advertised as Closed. There were 6 other clients who were upset also. (And those were ones standing next to me checking in). We made our reservation with Wyndham because my granddaughter wanted to swim. If we would have known your pool was Closed, I would have found another hotel to stay in. That manager needs fired. She is not a professional acting manager and she made us all feel like she dint have time for us. Trying to talk to her about the pool and she just walked away while she argued with us telling us she's too busy to talk. The room was a mess!! She said the rooms had been cleaned by her herself. Well the room had not been vacuumed, the dirty bathroom was disgusting!! There was trash all over the floor, peoples food they had dropped and bottle caps by the bed. The beds felt like I was sleeping in a rice sack filled with straw. Lumpy, hard and very uncomfortable. With unprofessional and rude managers and dirty rooms, we won't be back to your hotel in Ashland Ohio. I hope something is done at that hotel and not swept under the rug!!

Disliked: The property looked tired and in need of some sprucing up. We had a terrible time with the desk clerk preauthorizing our stay. He went through 5 credit cards and said they were all declined. They were NOT bad cards. Finally my husband spoke to him and he paid for both nights rather than the pre authorization for one night and it went through. It was not our fault but it was a processing problem on our end but we were given a few hours to rectify it or we would lose the room.
