I was going to give this hotel a 5 and very positive rating were it not for our last night there, where everything fell apart. At 10.30 at night we thought someone was trying to get into our room and found out it was the hotel staff! It would have been much simpler if someone had the brains to call us. We then discovered that due to the fact that we had decided to stay an extra night we were supposed to check out and check in again but NO ONE TOLD US THAT. In fact, we were told at the front desk that it was all taken care of. To make matters worse, they tried to get into our room, no phone call, THEN they called and told us we needed to get dressed and go downstairs (it was then 10.40pm). We refused and in the end the manager came to our room - couldn't he have done that at first? After much shouting, on our part, we resolved the issue at 11pm at night. What could have been simple, was made complicated by thoughtless employees and the poor manager, who was in fact quite nice, got yelled at (but it is his job) and we left the hotel with a bad taste in our mouth and will not stay there again, nor suggest that anyone else does. Do not blame your guests for something your employees have overlooked, especially late at night!

Disliked: Fridge was broken and didn’t seal closed. Air conditioner buttons didn’t work to be able to adjust degrees in room.

Liked: Matthew and the rest of the staff are ALWAYS so AMAZING. They really do care about you and your experience while staying at Hotel Burbank. Starting with the complementary shuttle to the hotel, the drivers are friendly and helpful. The staff at the front desk are welcoming and friendly. The Cafe, Bar, and Restaurant staff are ALWAYS smiling and friendly. The food is AMAZING. The location is incredible.
Disliked: Nothing. I stay at this hotel EVERY time I visit Burbank (3 days/ once every 4 to 6 weeks). I always insist the same of my friends and family who have never been. Everyone has been converted to Hotel Burbank after a single visit.
