A very warm, welcoming bed...
Liked: The whole atmosphere of the place just left us in awe. It made our stay feel very home like and peaceful. We loved the privacy and amount of space, and breakfast was very well prepared and served. Definitely have no complaints with our stay!

Very lovely! Thank you!
Liked: The owners were so friendly and the breakfast was delicious. You can tell that a lot of effort was spent on the presentation at this inn. Overall, we absolutely would come back next time we?re looking for a weekend getaway!
Disliked: The bed was a bit harder than what I?m used to, so I woke up a bit sore. Also, there was some residue left from the bath water that I suspect came fromthe pipes. Not a huge deal?we still really enjoyed soaking in the tub.

Liked: Upon entering the Victorian home, you are taken back in time and feel relaxed. Even after a rowdy hockey game. Certainly unlike a hotel stay. Well done!

This is a gem of...
Liked: The house is a gem with all kinds of interesting antique carpets, pictures and family heirlooms. It's a wonderful interesting place to stay especially for those who are drawn to historic areas and periods. The owners are friendly and know lots about the history of the area. Their family has been in the area for generations. The breakfast was spectacular. One of the best I have had at a B&B. The experience was very memorable. They had wonderful amenities including complimentary bottled water and a small frig. The town is interesting (though only a shadow of its former self due to the decline of coal) and you can take wonderful walks along the river. Great location near the University. I would stay there again for sure.
Disliked: The bathroom was fine though the shower is very small, it is understandable since it is retrofitted into an old house. I would appreciate a better quality of toilet paper but generally all the amenities were available. The room feels a bit cramped but it is comfortable and aesthetic.

Liked: The breakfast was the best part. It was just perfectly prpeared.
Disliked: The bed was not as comfortable as I would like. The mattress sagged in the middle.
