Pleasant

Liked: The property itself is wonderful and the fact that it?s a Hungry Horse meant we didn?t have to venture into the cold to find somewhere to eat. Staff were friendly and we got checked in with ease.
Disliked: Stayed here last month in a room which was stocked up with the usual teabags, milk sachets etc. and the bathroom had soap/shower gel available. Unfortunately, during this visit we did not have any bathroom soap, both containers were empty and when my partner asked if we could have refills he was told they do not supply it, which confused us. So a trip to Tesco it was. This wasn?t a major issue, not compared to the damp on the ceiling in the bathroom. Sleeping wasn?t the best experience, mostly due to the pillows being too firm - if I were to sleep on one it was too low and I ended up feeling cramped the next day, and if I slept on two it was too high and uncomfortable.

Passable

Liked: Staff gave a friendly and helpful response to the problems encountered.
Disliked: The radiator in the room was not working. One of the Windows was very old and certainly not adequate for the gale force winds that were battering the area, during my stay. There were also three large house flies in the room.
