Mercure Oxford Hawkwell House Hotel consists of three buildings including two 19th century manor houses and is located in the surrounds of Iffley Village only 2 miles from the center of Oxford. Excellent well run peaceful hotel

Liked: Quiet peaceful atmosphere with staff available. I have a friend who lives in a nearby nursing home and this is an ideal base fir visiting her.
Disliked: Breakfast too expensive. I requested a fried egg rolls but it would have cost £23.

Comfortable and safe stay

Liked: The hotel is clean and the accommodation is comfortable and quiet. The area is safe. The staff is friendly. Close to tourist attractions. I thank the employee in charge of the restaurant with short hair because she is the pinnacle of humanity in her dealings with adults and children

Booked this hotel last minute...

Liked: Clean , friendly staff, spacious and lovely setting.Value for money is the real plus , and the family rooms are a really decent size. The location by the River Thames and ability to walk into the city so easily was also a bonus
Disliked: Can honestly say nothing and we will be back
