Everything was great. Recently remodeled...
Liked: The room was excellent - it was recently remodeled and had a new smell. For the price I was not expecting a room this nice.
Disliked: It was great. There was nothing I didn’t like.

Overall, it was pleasant, but not family friendly
Liked: The breakfast was really good for the tier of hotel. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very nice and efficient and the location was great. Elevators came very quickly and there was a lot of close parking between the front and back entrances.
Disliked: We booked so our kids could use the pool, but they didn't tell you that they have a swimming school conduct swimming lessons in there 5 out of 7 days of the week. When we walked in to use the pool, one of the swimming school staff members discouraged us from using it saying they would only give us a small area in the pool. They said we were welcome to use the whirlpool which was out of order (also not indicated beforehand). We said we would be swimming anyway and they did give us a small section of the pool, but it was very embarrassing to get into the pool with 3 classes of parents watching and and about 5-7 staff members, there were about 10-20 kids in the classes as well. There were people coming and going, the parents were on their phones sometimes taking pictures of their kids in the water and I just feel like I didn't consent to be in the pool during the swim class. We inquired about late checkout the night before we were to leave and they told us that we could checkout at noon. My husband watched the staff member at the front desk type it into the computer. At 11:15am the next day they called our room phone and asked when we were planning to check out. This was frustrating, because we had to have the conversation all over again. Lastly, when traveling with young children I don't understand why there are rooms with showers only. We were already in the room before we noticed. When I got a text inquiring about our stay, I did comment that there was no tub and admittedly it was my fault for not asking, but that text message went without response. The bathroom was completely inaccessible for children. The sing was very very high and the toilet was high as well. There were no hooks or towel bars in reach. The also only put two towels in the room for 4 people. Overall, it was pretty frustrating.

Worse than I expected
Liked: The bed was comfortable
Disliked: We chose this hotel because it has an indoor pool and hot tub. The pool water is very cloudy and has what looks to be mold spots all of the bottom, and the jets on the hot tub weren't working, when calling the front desk they said they'd send someone down to check on it and no one ever came. When I asked if we could cancel early, they said it's a new system they weren't sure how and told me to contact booking.com. Also got to whiteness a drug overdose right outside the hotel.
