Liked: Superb building, wonderful ambience, hotel staff where friendly and helpful, very professional, had a great stay. Breakfast was good, spa was a good addition.
Disliked: It isn't much, but maybe some parts are looking a bit tired, didn't matter really, such a lovely place

A perfect example of a...

Liked: The Welcombe is ideally placed near to Stratford-Upon-Avon, making it ideal for short or long breaks alike. The rooms were extremely large (we stayed in an executive double suite which could probably have housed the population of a small island comfortably!) and the facilities excellent. The breakfast selection was extensive and the recreational space (gym and spa) was also modern and well-stocked. All in all, a great overnighter and a standard that other chain hotels should look up to as an exemplar.
Disliked: I can’t play golf so that was a dip for me! This said, the course looked great!
