Hotel Description
The Half Moon has sixteen bedrooms with attached bathroom which include singles doubles twins and family rooms. One of our twins has private bathrooms for wheelchair users. Room fridges are available upon request and fax facilities are available at front desk. The a la carte restaurant named Hewitts offers a menu of traditional dishes. The lounge bar is open from 12 noon until late. There are lots of tables and the bar serves substantial meals. On Sundays there is a carvery at lunchtime serving a variety of roast meats. Half Moon Hotel has a function room which will seat 38 guests at tables and up to 80 'cinema style'. The venue is suitable for weddings meetings and many other types of function.

So dog friendly

Liked: The staff were fantastic! And they included our dog at breakfast with some toast (cut up just for our staffy) they were very polite and got to know us as people not just guest, and they treat our dog as family too.

Liked: Nice big room clean and tidy nicely decorated comfortable bed good shower lots of parking

Liked: The hotel staff was very friendly they couldn’t do enough for you was always around if needed the room was very spacious expected it to be small has a double but was surprised how big the room was the bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent the hotel has a lovely cosy atmosphere we couldn’t fault it the breakfast had everything and more and was lovely the guy who waited on us was very friendly and hard working has well has the family, they was plenty of space for parking round the back of Hotel will be coming again thank you for our lovely stay
Disliked: they was nothing not to like well done to the staff and owners of the Hotel we will be coming again in future
