Great location and very comfortable...

Liked: It was very clean both inside the dorm and in the bathrooms. The atmosphere was really nice and it felt super homey. The kitchen is also very well equipped, which is great for cooking meals.
Disliked: The staff is pretty hands off meaning that there are no organised tours or activities. Although really nice and helpful, I also was not aware of all that was available at the property which I mainly found out through others.

Exceptional

Liked: I've spent an amazing time at the Hakuna Matta hostel in Lahaina. Everybody was very welcoming and had good tips regarding trips & tours in Maui. The atmosphere was very homey and relaxed, really nice summer vibes all over! The beach is just a step away and since I surf it was amazing to use the surfboards from the backyard for free. Thanks to Irving for checking me in so late and showing me around and everybody else from the staff for making my stay unforgettable! :)
