Liked: The room was very dated and in need of some modernisation. The carpet needs changing and the bathroom needs a refurbishment. The hotel was very noisy from 6am and I didn't appreciate the noise from the exercise class directly outside my window at 8:30am
Disliked: The bed was very comfy. The hotel grounds are lovely

Just unlucky with the room...

Liked: Booking system and staff very helpful Restuarant and service fine. Room comfortable.
Disliked: Only staying overnight and late booking so price was a bit steep but as much our fault. Our room was not double glazed which meant condensation ran down and had left black mould on the window sill which had not been cleaned - not a health issue but unsightly. Main gripe for me was the room ( probably one of the last available ) was above the kitchen and next to the fume extractor which when switched on at 6.00 a.m. started up like a jet engine and was too noisy to sleep through. There was also boiler noise and doors banging. There was live music into late evening but to be fair we were warned about this and it finished earlier than stated.

Hadlow Manor is pleasantly sited...

Liked: Pleasant, open atmosphere. There was plenty of space too, and easy parking with great view from bedrooms.
Disliked: I had to give up trying to use wifi. That made things difficult. Also, I couldn't find out how to use the TV, so had no contact with the outside world via laptop, iPad or TV. Maybe that was a 'good' thing, but I would like to have decided that I wouldn't follow the news for two days myself, not to have no choice in the matter.

Liked: Staff were exceptional. They helped us in every way possible. We were making a difficult visit to a sick elderly relative and all staff went beyond the call of duty to suppoert us - even arranging for us to have our dinner in your lovely restaurant

Excellent stay in a country...

Liked: Check in flawless with very friendly staff. Car parking easy and safe. We didn't have breakfast but had two evening meals that were superb. We had a query on the ingredients of one meal and the staff requested the chef to come and see us and described his speciality meal and were we amazed at the quality. He actually came to see us after the meal to ask if we enjoyed it, Now that's service to another level. We were so impressed that we stayed another night. Good location for the National Trust Properties. We will definitely stay here again.
Disliked: The bathroom is a little dated. The room was on the ground floor and we would have liked blinds on the window for privacy.

Lovely place but stuck in...

Liked: The staff were brilliant, they even cooked me a burger before the kitchen officially opened and brought it to my room with no extra charge and brought tea and coffee when i found none in my room upon arrival, clean comfy bed and clean bathroom.
Disliked: It?s stuck in a 90?s time warp with floral curtains, dated art and carpets. There were cobwebs on the high ceiling and thick dust on top of the wardrobe, no tea, coffee, milk or sugar in room, called down and asked for some which was brought up swiftly but they forgot sugar, called reception again but no one answered so i had to go looking for sugar, however a staff member saw me half way and gave me some. windows are old fashioned sash windows which get quite wet with condensation when you heat the room.
