Excellent location, easy access to...

Liked: Location, facilities were great.
Disliked: Parking was a challenge - not the Hotel’s problem but more a patron problem as cars were parked inconsiderately for other vehicles trying to access the carpark. We were able to park in it on the final night of our stay; the next morning a car had parked across most of the car park, blocking cars in. Luckily we weren’t affected as we had to get away early.

Cosy hotel

Liked: The outside and inside of the hotel was very nice and the food from the pub area was amazing.staff were very friendly and always there to help you.
Disliked: The beds were very uncomfortable. They seemed old and rock hard where you could feel the springs. Because of the sleeping side unfortunately I wouldn’t come again untill they get new beds as Me and my wife didn’t sleep well, that is the most important thing after a good hike.

Dog friendly, comfortable and welcoming...

Liked: I loved how accommodating they were to our dog. The dog friendly atmosphere made for a relaxing stay for us!
Disliked: Lights were always on full in the bar and lounge area which made it feel less cosy and intimate.
