The stay was good, but...

Disliked: The rooms are aging and need updating.

Not worth it, look around...

Liked: Location was great to walk or drive to the main street in Williams which was full of little shops and restaurants and was exactly how we pictured Route 66/Grand Canyon country.
Disliked: There was no wifi whatsoever - our room was on the second floor, but even walking down to the lobby and sitting in reception you could barely get enough signal to check an email or make a call. I raised this with staff and was told 'lots of guests are probably also trying to use it right now' - however this was the case for the entire 2 days, regardless of time we tried to access (2am, 7am, 11pm - all the same). The pool was also quite cold and the outdoor entry/exit meant that each time people entered it got colder. There was no breakfast included and the cost per person for a buffet was $20 - with 3 young kids who unpredictably eat quite little in the morning this made no sense for us in terms of value for money. We arrived quite late one night and were hoping to order food to go to our rooms - the kids menu has 2 options, either a chicken salad or corn dogs. They don't offer fries or basic kid friendly options if you have a child with more basic tastes. I enquired about taking toppings off of a pizza in the hope we could make it work but was told 'they come as they are, pre made' - we ended up getting back in the car and driving back out for food.
