Stay in London with a...

Liked: The location was good, and food and bar were nice. The beds were comfortable enough, and linens clean. Lockers for rent during the day are practical.
Disliked: The rooms were smaller than they appeared in the photos. There was no air conditioning and the windows could barely be opened, and the fan was pretty weak so it was very hot (warm summer days). The lockers in the room weren’t very practical, some slightly broken. It smelled a little, same in the bathroom, probably because of the lack of air circulation. Benches in the bathroom to put clothes on temporarily would be practical.

Disappointing

Liked: Breakfast, luggage storage
Disliked: Small rooms with NO AIR, couldn’t open the window properly to get enough air. Should have air conditioning in that case.

Fairly comfortable, just needs maintenance

Liked: Overall place was comfortable. Bed was sturdy and comfortable, pillow and duvet were nice and comfortable, room was fairly clean, and roommates were respectful (kept room tidy). Room was spacious enough to walk around, and there is a vanity section with 3 mirrors and sockets. Attached pic of bed upon arrival and night light. Staff were nice and friendly, and near location to King's Cross make this place fairly good to stay at. Besides the bathroom, I'd say this place is good to crash in after a long day out.
Disliked: Room: No sockets at bed, just USB ports (as in picture). Since my charger uses USB-C, I can't use it. In the mornings and evenings, need to 'queue' with roommates since there are only 4 proper sockets for the whole room to use. Would be amazing if management can update the bedside charging situation. And there are only 2 chairs for 3 mirrors which don't match. And to add more hooks to hang up stuff in the room.Bathroom: Needs major upgrading. If management can at least make the bathrooms functional, it would make this accommodation fairly comfortable and highly suggested to stay at. Only one bathroom for the whole basement floor to share:- Only 3 out of 6 showers can be used, where one was out of order and two can't be locked. There is always a queue in the mornings and evenings.- Only 2 sinks out of 4 can be used, so there is always a queue to use the sinks.- The toilets have weak flushes, therefore require more than 1 flush minimum. (which is fine but often ignored by occupants therefore leaving the toilets dirty)- Only 1 of the hairdryers are functioning properly.

Decent location with a good...

Liked: The bar and the common area is really good, the girls at the check-in desk were very kind and helpful. Location is also good.
Disliked: Terrible sleeping experience. We were woken up at 3 AM by reception due to their own check-in mistake. We were in the correct beds, and check.in was proper. Their confusion completely ruined our sleep, and the staff member even insisted we come up to the reception at 3 AM to sort it out. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable.The rooms were without air-conditioner or even fan during summers and the room were stuffy during the night.

Glimpse of hell

Liked: Not much. Close to the train station, only positive point.
Disliked: Smaller room that expected, no AC it’s was hot as hell, rude staff, drinks not good, dirty wc and broken shower.

May not stay again...

Liked: Friendly Staff. Good Location. Comfortable Bed
Disliked: Room was crammed with very little ventilation. The air from the air coolers on the floor doesn't reach the top bunks so it was too hot to sleep comfortably.

Liked: Good price/ food location/ comfort
Disliked: I would like a little more privacy in the rooms. Also my rooms was near the smoking area and the smell would enter the room

Disliked: The temperature in the rooms were ridiculous. Impossible to sleep with no air con of fan. Didn’t sleep at all during the stay cause of the heat in the room
