Great service, great room and...

Liked: The hotel room was superb... spacious, wonderful bed, wonderful bathroom and even a small balcony to feel very 'New York'!All the staff were wonderfully helpful, always willing to go the extra mile to help... and the concierge knew everything!It was perfect to be a few metres from a Subway line, making all of Manhatten easily accessible...As for the roof-top pool... what could be better!
Disliked: From the outside the entrance lobby looks a little shabby, but the hotel itself more than makes up for this

Liked: FRAUDS !!! Double charged my credit card for thousands more & refused to refund me even though it was clearly written on the bookings.com contract!!
Disliked: They are refusing to refund an illegal overcharge ! & even with the help of mastercard & Bookings.com they are saying the will hold the illegal overcharge of $3000 for 30 business days because that’s their policy

Great location & rooftop restaurant...

Liked: Loved the proximity to the 6 train! Also nice to have a Whole Foods nearby! Rooftop pool was beautiful, but way too hot on the day we went in. We loved the restaurant and the service we received there! The performers we saw were fantastic!!
Disliked: Pool was way too hot! It was unswimmable. Service was extremely slow when I requested a few items to be brought to the room. Unfortunately our "view" was of a garbage area of the building next door. Not impressive.

Great location and large but...

Liked: Large extended room with an oddly large number of closets (5-6). The TVs and room tech are a bit dated (small and lacking modern casting/options). We stayed on the 18th floor but one elevator didn't go to 18 (waiting for repair) so we were constantly skipping the broken elevator. The room card reader in the elevators didn't work, so anyone could access any floor, guest or not. Elevator issues aside, the location, room size, and staff were phenomenal!
Disliked: Elevator issues were a bit frustrating but not a deal breaker... It also took nearly an hour to get our car from the valet when we were leaving. They did warn us beforehand but an hour to get the car while waiting with three kids was a bit rough.

Disappointed

Disliked: Overpriced, old, no chill lobby, my room was with balcony and got 500$ penalty cos i smoked on my balcony
