Liked: The floorplan of our motel room was ideal with a very long and spacious bathroom separating our room from the neighboring one, making it very quiet and private. There was plenty of counter and floor space with a large TV and very comfortable bed. An added bonus was being able to walk out past our front door parking space to a grass lawn that included a 20x80' fenced in dog park. The motel was an easy five minute drive to Acadia National Park and the bustling town center of Bar Harbor. Driving briefly in the opposite direction yielded some quieter restaurants if you simply wanted to dine and try a delicious lobster roll.
Disliked: There was not a closet in the room, but only a pull out "rod" with multiple hooks to hang clothes or jackets.

Way overpriced! Nothing like the...

Disliked: Waaaaaay overpriced! Don't stay here. dingy motel; nothing like the picture! staff rarely around; not helpful. I was so disappointed! Go closer into town and stay at the "Bar Harbor Motel"---now that was a great motel!

Like stepping back in time...

Liked: Great king bed, plenty of space. Modern shower. Super great parking and outdoor space.

Clean, comfortable and the room...

Liked: Although a few miles away from Bar Harbor, we were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and level of comfort at this out of town motel. Room prices in Bar Harbor, for even basic accommodation, can get ludicrously expensive, but Gallagher's Travels pricing offered way more value than most in town.
Disliked: We found no cause for complaint.

More than a decent place...

Liked: The room and property was clean and well kept. The location was good and for the time of year and its location, the pricing was acceptable.
Disliked: It would have been nice to have greater capacity for hanging clothing items and possibly a chest of drawers so as to not have to live out of our suitcases.
