Disliked: Called to add one day to stay. Confirmed no price change then hit with $30 extra on checkout. Followed up and explaation was that "telephone reservation is more expensive than online" despite telling me no change. Would have added extra day on line had they told me the truth.

Disliked: A foul odor in hallway on the first floor. The 19 year old manager tried to mask it with an air freshener. He was aware of the odor and did not offer to accommodate us by offering another room. He was totally unconcerned about the guest. Also, the carpet in room 107 was wet near the air conditioner. I reported it to him and he responded it’s the condensation from the air conditioner and provided 2 towels to put down in front of it to help absorb the moisture. Clearly, he was inexperienced to make good judgment calls. I was very displeased with the service there. Fairfield has always been a great place for me to stay but I clearly will not stay at that location again.
