Would only book this hotel...

Liked: Bed was at least comfortable. The area around the hotel was close to multiple restaraunts and gas stations, which made it convenient for me since I was driving everywhere from Monterey to Scotts Valley. Emily was very kind when I checked in and extremely helpful when I locked myself out of my room. Although I didn't use them, the large fridge, microwave, and stove were a nice addition to the room, which was actually a decent size.
Disliked: The hotel grounds itself wasn't exactly clean. There was trash in the flower beds along with a trash can knocked over. My room was a bit dusty. There was a large cobweb hanging in the corner. There was a stain on the shower curtain and on the sink counter. I'm glad there was hand soap and body soap at least, however, it seemed a bit inconvenient in order to get shampoo, conditioner, extra linen, it all has to be at the front desk. There are supposed to be "quiet hours" from 10 PM to 8 AM. Both of my nights there, I heard noise and the dog across from my room barking. Now checking out, there was an elderly gentleman in front of me requesting information on getting a room for a week. The front desk manager seemed a bit annoyed and disconnected. One last thing, I was told the $100 security deposit, which I was unaware of, would be refunded when I check out. Now, according to the informational paper they provide, it takes up to 7 business days, excluding weekends, to be refunded.

Disliked: Deluxe king room showers and toilet no works ..Changed my room 2 times .. really wanted to get refund . Front desk Di nothing to help us out .. their response wait for maintenance guy for one hour so that he can bring punger to unclog toilet
