Extended Stay America Suites - Akron - Copley - East, Akron

The hotel was very clean and updated. But they advertise breakfast, and the only thing they had was coffee and packets of oatmeal.

Liked: Very clean.
Disliked: No breakfast.

We stayed at Studio Plus in the same area last years and were not impressed, so staying at Extended America, we weren't expecting much. We were pleased when we walked in. The rooms were updated, clean, just what we needed for a one night stay. The staff at front desk was very friendly and courteous.

Liked: Clean, updated rooms.
Disliked: Beds weren't comfortable.

Disappointing

Liked: I didnt see any bedbugs so that was good. Staff was pretty nice.
Disliked: The desk chair was sticky and very obviously covered in human secretions. The recliner had something spilled all along the side and a pair of worn socks stuffed inside. Some of the lumpiest pillows I have ever encountered. Weird stain in the bathroom sink. The lobby of the hotel smelled so badly of horrid BO and sweat.

Liked: The room was perfect for our needs. The big fridge and microwave were perfect. Close to the national park and plenty of food/retail options nearby. Even drive to Cleveland during one day.
Disliked: The hallways were a bit smelly and the other guests were a bit noisy. It was a little outdated but that’s what you get for the cheaper rates.
