This is the last time...
Disliked: We reserved a twin room and I confirmed that a twin had been allocated when we checked in. After a long trek through the corridors we found we had been allocated a double room. We were then allocated a very dirty twin room, despite having been told the rooms had been Covid deep cleaned. Actually the curtains were hanging off and the a/c unit had come adrift of the wall, cracked sink etc. The Manager explained that this was one of their "older rooms". The third room was just about acceptable. I enquired about arranging an early breakfast and was told that there was no food or beverage service and also that their airport shuttle service was not operating "due to Covid"- makes it slightly pointless to stay there! I could accept that this was there first day back after lockdown and that we should make allowances however there is no excuse for dirty rooms charged at full whack.

Liked: The staff were friendly enough!
Disliked: The room had not been cleaned and there were no basic toiletries such as shower gel, shampoo etc..., not even a bar of soap! This hotel has gone right down hill since the new ownership! This used to be one of the nicest hotels near Manchester Airport!

Great start to a holiday
Liked: Staff were extremely friendly we had a fabulous relaxing evening with a superb dinner transport was on hand the next morning to take us straight to the airport whenever we wanted
