The hotel was within walking distance of a lot of great venues and restaurants and bars. Excellent location; nice clean rooms; friendly staff. Recommended!

Liked: Nice and clean
Disliked: The shuttle vans had blocked me and other guest in multiple times and the staff were annoyed when we asked for help to get out . And breakfast was overrun by a lot of kids. The poor cooks and kitchen staff. They needed more help. One cook at omelet station and one refilling everything. Not ok. The poor woman was literally running

BAD EXPERIENCE AT HYATT-BRAND HOTEL-ENTIRELY...
Liked: Lobby was on-going noise and party, young preteens wandering around in lobby shoeless. Staff was oblivious to noise and nuisance issues.
wifi worked ok -no real business center existed but a small window ledge in lobby was usable had two PC's and printer that functioned.
Disliked: Front Desk staff took over two hours to process registration amidst noise and disorder of the lobby area activity. Staff seemed untrained and in need of professional management coaching. Their language and usage were difficult to understand above the din of the lobby. Subteens and teens were "body surfing" on lobby furnture , carrying food and drink around lobby as well as in the many other rooms of the ground floor. General chaos on site. Shuttle advertised with reservation did not materialize at airport. Front Desk said shuttles exist but only within limited unknown radius from hotel site and only on reservation. Desk tried to demand prepayment of reservation plus incidentalls on arrival. Language barriers further complicated communication. All in all, absence of senior management hindered effective and efficient functioning of Front Desk. Staffing problems apparently inconvenienced this traveler as well as others arriving at this hotel. SUMMARY---BAD EXPERIENCE AT A NATIONAL BRANDED HOTEL

Disliked: When I went to leave. The white embassy suites van was blocking me in. And others. I called and in and a worker named Philip pick up the phone instead of him in the van moved there probably would help a lot of other people were trying to come and do drop off and pick up in front of the hotel. Philip did come outside and help me navigate my car out of the tape parking spot but it was obvious he was annoyed and rushed I definitely did not want to bother him but I was fearful that I was going to hit other cars or the van in the simple solution was maybe just move the van and park it at a different location that we still near the front of the hotel there is no need for it to be right there in the carport no one was in the van and the van was not running

Disliked: The bathroom was especially filthy, layered in dust and mold. Outside windows were a mess. Window couldn't be closed all the way so we heard traffic clearly all night. I get it's an old building but there is much cleaning needed to be done. Would have expected that from a lower scale hotel.
