Short stay before early am...

Liked: Good location for early am flights out of Atlanta Airport, relatively new, was clean and quiet. Suite set up is nice as well.
Disliked: Paying for parking AGAIN after I already paid for it with my booking on Booking.com. Staff seemed to have no understanding of how that would work, so I had no choice but to scan and pay to get out of the parking lot. Which is weird because I MEANT to stay at the Embassy Suites on the north end of the airport (where we stayed last year) and that one had totally wide open and free parking.

Disliked: I found a bug within my bath towels the AC vents were so duty my spouse kept sneezing my husband is disabled we never pay for parking I was charged this time The AC in. Y room 541 was broken made a very loud noise they moved me to 506 to my surprise as I opened the door there was a man already in this room. Will never stay here again they are short staffed always there is a long line waiting for help or check in

Liked: The property was located close to where the convention was being held. The breakfast was good and the staff was very nice.
Disliked: There were some issues with the elevator that was closed to my room location. There weren’t any towels for the pool and I was told it would take a min to get any . The room did get hot at night even with the air on.

Liked: The room we got moved to was cleaner.
Disliked: We have stayed at this hotel previously and it was good. This time was a different story. From the time we walked in it felt like a sauna. It was so hot and muggy. When we checked into our room, there was a terrible smell of marajuana smoke. The air conditioning didn't work in the room. We called and the front desk. They ultimately moved us to another room, this room did have better air. The hotel was very crowded, which is fine, but there was marajuana smoke billowing inside the hotel, in the bathrooms, etc. We complained to the front desk and they said there wasn't anything they could do about it. So instead our kids had to sit there and deal with people smoking weed all over the place. There was a kid walking around with a gun at the hotel. Again, we reported and saw the group of kids still walking around. The bar and the food closed at 10 pm so we couldn't even get a drink when we got back to the hotel, which is why we stayed there. Not to mention the elevators were out of order except one. Which made it very difficult to get downstairs, had there been an emergency, we would have been up the creek with no paddle. I will never stay at this hotel again. It was a horrible experience.
