Disappointing

Liked: Breakfast is the usual “free” meal; cereal, instant oatmeal with the clump of brown sugar that falls out in a hard lump, bagels, fruit, etc. I looked but didn’t partake. Across the street however, is a Cle Elum institution, locally owned diner with excellent hot breakfast! Great hash browns, biscuits, eggs from real chickens, and so on. Hotel has ample free parking. Lots of space to walk or run a dog on a dirt road and grassy area right behind the back of the hotel. If bringing a dog this will be a space anyone will use.
Disliked: Quick summary, in my experience this would be an example of a 2.5* place, not 3 star. It’s a hotel that is ready for a refresh; paint, rugs, landscaping, lighting. Advertised “pet friendly” and then charged $20 night - told “it’s in the fine print”. On top of that, after confirming I had a dog (12lbs) I ended up in a room with only a full sized bed instead of the queen I had reserved (no discount) on a night when the hotel was about half full. Yes, I disclosed I was bringing a dog with me on my reservation. Feel like $94.00 is too much for my night in this place.

Good desk people and good...

Liked: Rooms were the best. Before the put us in rooms not as good as these. We will continue to stay as long as we get rooms on the second floor.

Liked: The location was convenient. The lobby was bright and clean. Parking was convenient. Check-in was efficient.
Disliked: Breakfast was mediocre. The room and hallway show signs of wear and could have been cleaner.
