Liked: The hotel shuttle is very convenient and a nice amenity. The room was clean and comfortable.
Disliked: I'm not a big fan of hotels that try and monetize early check-ins for guests that arrive early. Most hotels I've been at will as a courtesy let you check in early if a room is available. Not Doubletree (and the staff member didn't even check). So I wait

An excellent place to stay...

Liked: Very close to Burlingame which is a good place to visit to spend some extra time between flights. There is a nice boardwalk with easy access from the hotel which has a good view of the Golden Gate Bridge and surrounding area. The dining room serves a simple but acceptable evening meal.

Liked: Restaurant right downstairs, close to airport.
Disliked: Restaurant is a little pricey, but food was ok.

Liked: It was clean and I liked the coffee in the morning. The front desk person was nice and the cookies were hot. When our toilet got clogged, they sent someone right away to fix it.
Disliked: I couldn't call the front desk or housekeeping when our toilet got clogged. Also, the elevators and hallways were run down. The shuttle also took longer than 15 minutes to arrive and when it did, the luggage area wouldn't open.
