Very good
Liked: Quite dated but clean and comfortable. Great location. A little cheaper than some other options but it's because you pay for parking separately
Disliked: Parking isn't super close, and you pay additionally. The queen bed sank quite a bit in the middle, made it a little less comfortable.

Great hotel and close to...
Liked: While the parking seemed intimidating, it was actually really convenient. It was about a 5-7 minute walk from the parking to the hotel, but its all inside through a mini mall so it was fine. I thoroughly enjoyed how conviently located the hotel was to everything. I never had to use my car after we parked it getting into Halifax. The room was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. We were located in a King (suite I believe?) which is in a quieter location of the hotel and it was great. Our view cute! The staff were really friendly, I had called to see if we could check in a couple hours early, while they didn't have my room type available, we were able to upgrade for $20 to a bigger room which was available right then and there.
Disliked: The room itself was a little dated. It was giving 2005 browns and big furniture if you know what I mean. However, I don't care too much about this as long as everything was still working great, which it was, but just something to note. The price was a little bit higher than I would have like to pay is its price was inching into the "luxury" category and didn't feel like it offered such amenities (ie free water or coffee in the lobby, etc). The plug situation in the room was interesting, there was a power bar by the bend and a lot of cords, which created some clutter.

All about the location
Liked: Location..close to Scotiabank for concert and restaurants in downtown area.
Disliked: Paying for parking..just put it in the price to start with and be upfront about it. Room was small and very dated. You expect a much nicer room for the downtown area. Very old furniture, dingy stained carpets, drab wallpaper and ancient drapes.

It was disappointing...not what I...
Liked: The staff were friendly and the bed seemed clean as well as the towels and room in general.
Disliked: The room was like a sauna but when we turned on the air, it rattled so bad we couldn't sleep so we had to turn it off plus the air vents were filthy...not very healthy. The shower curtain had black stains all over it and they only gave us exactly 2 hand towels, 2 bath towels & 2 face cloths but we could have used more of some. Most hotels provide more. Having to go quite a distance for parking was unacceptable as well.
