Liked: I attended my cousins wedding and stayed over. Everything went really smoothly. Food was good. Tracey on reception was particularly helpful and took my mother?s case to the room.
Disliked: The cobbles made it very difficult to walk. Also the ramp up to the reception made walking difficult though I can understand that was needed for the disabled

Liked: Stunning property and lovely garden
Disliked: Tons of doors everywhere (excessively) and shared carpets could do with a clean (not the ones in the rooms)

Very pleasant stay in nice...
Liked: Very nice location and setting. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, if a little basic, but that, I was expecting because of the room I booked.

Nice place and lovely grounds
Liked: Not bad. Nice place and location, but staff could do with a bit more customer care training.

Hugely disappointing stay - such...
Liked: You have filled in some of the huge holes in the drive - brilliant :)
Disliked: I had previously stayed and was really looking forward to this return visit. I given Porter room which was very disappointing and felt more like a prison cell rather than the lovely Needham room I had last time. Very dull and gloomy, small en suite with a lovely plastic shower curtain (yum) and you couldn't pick up a TV single to watch anything. Also a lot of noise from vehicles driving up and down during the evening. The worst part of my stay was dinner. 40 minute wait for my main course (which was only chicken) and I was first person in the dining room! It was the kitchen that really let them down. People who arrived after me got served before me, and the dining room wasn't that busy. Pudding, well, that was taken on a trip up and down the building before it got to me and that was only because I passed it on my way back to my room! Dreadful from start to finish and I haven't re-booked for my next stay. It was a shame that the person at Reception when I was checking out wasn't overly bothered that I didn't have a good stay - good to know.
