Night Hotel Broadway, New York City

Elevators were a huge problem; ended up taking the stairs from the 12th floor a lot.

Liked: The room was modern and clean; perfect for two people; bed was comfortable; one woman specifically at the front desk was friendly and kind.
Disliked: The hotel's internet and cable were down. Evening 1, the gentleman told us it would be fixed the next day. When we called the front desk the next day we were told it'd been down for a week and would continue to be down as they were having a problem. Not that this had any hindrance on our trip. It would have been nice to know for one and two been told upon asking.

Liked: The room was very clean, and the staff was polite and helpful. The location is great. The area is generally safe, and there is no street noise in your room. I will definitely stay in this hotel in the future.

You get what you pay for. For a place to sleep and keep your stuff, this is the place for you. If you want luxury, it definitely is not.

Liked: Very hospitable and friendly service.
Disliked: Incredibly hot. Elevators take forever and are very small.

For my first overnight in New York City this hotel was comfortable.

Liked: Friendly staff; great location; easy access to metro,
Disliked: Room heater was a bit noisy.

Liked: Good location, comfortable bed, good shower, clean towels every day.
Disliked: The entire place is in dire need of a makeover. Very dusty, chipped paintwork, broken blinds, electric sockets hanging off walls, really quite depressing rooms.

Liked: Location was great. One block to the subway station to go uptown and downtown. Several excellent restaurants in walking distance of hotel. Bed good. Closet good with multiple hangars. Bathroom sparkling clean and relatively new.
Disliked: Staff at check-in were uncommunicative. Lobby was depressing - dark & dirty & worn carpeting. Peeling and old paint on walls and woodwork. Tiny elevators. Dark hallways with worn out rugs and peeling paint. A dump.
