Great location, close to highways and across street from the mall. Stayed here many times over the years but this time it was really noisy with kids playing in hallways.
Liked: Friendly front desk staff; breakfast.
Disliked: Kids hockey tournament staying in hotel. Out of control kids playing hockey in the hallways. Parents and hotel staff allowing it, even though guests were complaining about it.

The property was tired, like many Days Inns. It was just so so at best. My bed sloped down from the foot to the headboard and it was beside the loud A/C unit. We couldn't open the window for relief because the security light blasted in the window.
Liked: Location off the highway and beside the mall was great
Disliked: Loud and stuffy room

Got what I expected for the price.
Liked: 10-15 drive from center of Portland. Low price.
Disliked: Offers a continental breakfast, but barely any variety of food.

Every staff person I interacted with, from the front desk staff to the housekeeping staff were professional, courteous and very pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious and very clean. Location isn't in downtown Portland, but it is not far and is located right next to a huge mall, and all kinds of other conveniences. Right next door is MY personal favorite convenience - Starbucks Coffee.
Liked: Nicest, most helpful and most professional staff people that one is likely to encounter. The price was relatively inexpensive. The room was very clean, especially the bedding and towels. The television worked fine and there was a nice, simple, large-print guide informing guests of the channels available on the television and the corresponding number. Hotel is located right next to the intersection of I-95 and I-295.
Disliked: A little bit far away from downtown, but the hotel is right next door to the Maine Mall and to all kinds of other conveniences.
