Crowne Plaza Minneapolis West, Plymouth

I have recommended staying here to many friends!

Liked: The rooms were great. The brunch buffet was amazing. Manuel made awesome omelets to order; Marlys and Simba were great hosts. The valet/shuttle and concierge services were great too.
Disliked: Asked about upgrading to Romance Package and was told it would be an additional $65 to buy a plush robe. I would have preferred to have been told at check in about the option and may have made a different decision. Also, it would be nice if the shuttle service ran later.

Exceptional

Liked: I love the location. Turns out I stayed there and participated in many events way back in the day when it was a Raddison propertty
Disliked: I wasn’t there long enough to notice flaws.

Poor

Liked: I liked the hotel resturants i like the friendlyness of the front desk fast chwck in but the room was disappointing none of the lightbulbs were changwd so half the lights didnt turn on the room smelled like stale cigars the mirror decor was stained and dirty very dusty in the living room of my suite. The mirror in bathroom bulb was also burnt out. But id go back it wasnt awful they dont bother you to leave in the am which was nice. But there may have been beg bugs too im not sure

Disliked: There is a huge problem with the housekeeping staff. The toilet was broken (with feces in toilet).The shower was stained and had not been washed - had soap and dirt film. They no longer offer free bottled water. The staff is unpleasant and complained about the housekeeping staff.I had to get 3 rooms when checking in.

Disliked: There is a huge problem with the housekeeping staff. The toilet was broken (with feces in toilet).The shower was stained and had not been washed - had soap and dirt film. They no longer offer free bottled water. The staff is unpleasant and complained about the housekeeping staff.I had to get 3 rooms when checking in.

Liked: The decorations in the hallway were really awesome. It was great to go somewhere that wasn't just a hallway with rooms off of it.
Disliked: Pool and hot tub heaters were down. They knew they were down and didn't say anything and didn't plan on even checking to get them fixed until Monday.

Too Busy

Liked: The desk clerk was friendly upon check in. The bathroom and room were clean. Nice clean fridge and coffee maker with four complimentary k pods.
Disliked: Our room was pretty far from the entrance even though it was a handicapped room. The shower had very hot water and we were unable to find a comfortable temp. The shower didnt drain and started to flood the bathroom. Upon check out the lobby was so full with Girl Scouts selling cookies and another event going on in the attached room to the lobby. This hotel is a very large facility catering more to events than just individual travelers. Limited parking for handicapped, we ended up having to park on the other side hotel.
