Strongly recommend against anyone considering...

Disliked: I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay at this hotel, booked a room for 4 nights for my two builders, one was woken up in the middle of the night soaking wet as the ceiling was leaking, he had to go down to reception and they gave him a yellow building bucket and told him to put it on the bed, he was moved rooms but had no spare set of nightclothes. The following day when I called the hotel the owner was the most rude patronising person I've ever dealt with. The first thing he said was "he was not soaking wet", he reluctantly issued an apology to me and said he would also apologise to the builder. The builder did not receive said apology. I also asked for a refund for the first night, the owner took my bank details and said he needed a few hours, when I asked what he was going to do in this time he didn't give me an answer nor did he call back. The builders ended up leaving a night early because of the service they had received. I took this up with and they contacted him but he refused to refund. As well as being incredibly rude he also lies, he told on the 12th October that they were still staying in the hotel when they had checked out on the 7th. Please don't waste your time or money on this property.

I will never go to...

Liked: Nothing to mention here except the room size.
Disliked: The room was not cleaned, dirt on the floor, bedsheets were uncleaned. the door handle was broken. The staff is completely bad manners. One of the owners was trying to provide better customer service. But the receptionist was complaining to me that she is not aware of anything. she is doing all herself etc. Basically trying to avid to serve the customer.

Leicester trip

Liked: close to work and good value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff. Handy bar for a few drinks after work without having to drive.
Disliked: Old and antiquated and in dire need of refurbishment, however work was being carried out on the property.

Disliked: No breakfast could be provided but this was due to pandemic and not a fault of hotel.

Horrendous it needs fumigating

Liked: Appeared to be family runNice location
Disliked: For 50 for a double room, I didn?t expect the ritz! Yes their doing renovations, I accepted the property to have scaffolding and walls unfinished in hallways etc that didn?t bother me. But our room was really shocking. The walls had dirt up all of them them, holes in walls exposing fibreglass, one window was duct taped up. The bathroom ceilings covered in mould. The bedroom mirror had a huge crack across it the only electrical sockets available where burnt and cracked, to top it of our quilt cover had holes in and I came home covered in bites! We got one towel to share which had holes in too. Usually when a couple pay for a room you get a towel each? Did I complain?. No, they was absolutely no point, clearly their standards aren?t the same as mine and if they are willing to put guests in those rooms, clearly there don?t have a clue about their customers needs. To top it of throughout the night (after 11pm) we could hear people running about the hotel, loud noises and talking, definitely not the quiet room we requested. Horrendous night sleep and definitely needs fumigating and more money on guest rooms need to be a priority before they allow anyone else to pay for their service!! Oh and if that wasn?t enough when we left our room we had to balance down a very dodgy staircase because maintenance on the handrail was being painted. I was so upset that evening, I literally wanted to cry and go home I was so shocked I left as soon as we had enough sleep to drive Saftey and showered as soon as I got home. I still have bite marks and scabs all over my body.
