We were able to check in early, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were very pleasant. We will definitely stay there again next year. In fact we wouldn't stay anywhere else. It was great.

Unresponsive Management

Disliked: The service at the desk - we needed to check out early and inquired about not being charged for the last night. Nobody would take responsibility. Hotel staff said it was fine with them but up to booking so we called Booking. Booking sent an email to the manager. We told the hotel staff about the email. The hotel said the manager would be in the next morning. Then that morning, the manager was still not in. They said someone would call back, but we never got the call.

Disappointing

Liked: Location was fine and breakfast was good. The hotel had a quaint old quality.
Disliked: Upon opening the door to our room the smell of a damp musty odor was highly prevalent. We opened a window to air it out. It took out some smell but overall could still smell the mustiness. The top covering over the comforter had a cigarette burn on it. The room needs a total shampoo of rugs etc... They carry Direct TV with a whopping total of 52 channels. No movie channels. The telephone was yellowed and old.

Unless the AC is fixed,...

Liked: The property was so nice- clean, safe, and the rooms were super nice- BUT. The rest of the building was so, so, SO hot. It was like there was no AC on at all. The indoor pool was a plus!
Disliked: AC issues throughout the building.
